The SmarTrack Protector+ is suitable for most cars and vans providing they are generally in everyday use.

The price of £279 includes VAT however for business customers the price will be £232.50 +VAT.

How does it work?
A movement detector detects unauthorised movement of the vehicle.
The SmarTrack vehicle tracking device use a GPS-GSM (satellite global positioning though the phone network) to pinpoint the location of your vehicle. Once the vehicle is located the SCC Secure Control Centre provides live tracking, and can inform police direction and speed of the vehicle as well as updating when any changes take place.
Once your vehicle has been found, SmarTrack will arrange for a security guard to wait with your vehicle until recovery can be arranged.
Smartrack Monitoring Service
The SmarTrack control centre monitors your vehicle 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and fees are paid directly to SmarTrack. Customers can either pay an annual fee of £139 inc VAT, or a duration of ownership for £389 inc VAT. New for August 2009 both type of fees include European coverage.
Unlike other tracking devices SmarTrack systems can be transferred from one vehicle to another, providing the move is carried out by a SmarTrack approved installer (labour installation fees will be extra). This makes the system more cost effective in the longer term.
This device takes up to 3 hours to fit and can be installed at your home or workplace.
