Alert 24 Extra Features

SmarTrack Alert 24 systems have all the features of Protector+ but with some added features.

The main benefit of this device is that it can be linked to and existing vehicle alarm system. This means that if the alarm goes off the SCC monitoring centre will phone you to check all is OK with your vehicle.

The unit also automatically monitors your battery voltage level and if it falls below a threshold then a text will be sent to your phone.

How does it work?

A movement detector detects unauthorised movement of the vehicle.

The SmarTrack vehicle tracking device use a GPS-GSM (satellite global positioning though the phone network) to pinpoint the location of your vehicle. Once the vehicle is located the SCC Secure Control Centre provides live tracking, and can inform police direction and speed of the vehicle as well as updating when any changes take place.

Once your car or van has been found, SmarTrack will arrange for a security guard to wait with your vehicle until recovery can be arranged.

Smartrack GPS Vehicle Tracking Service

Your vehicle is monitored twenty-four hours a day, 365 days of the year by the SmarTrack Secure Control Centre and fees are paid to SmarTrack direct. There is a choice of either paying an annual £139 fee or a duration of ownership cost of £389, both of which include VAT. SmarTrack monitoring fees now include European coverage as standard.

SmarTrack is different from some other brands of tracking systems as units can be transferred to a new vehicle as you upgrade your car. This is providing it is uninstalled and reinstalled by a SmarTrack approved company (customers will need to pay for installation labour costs), however this option can make SmarTrack systems more cost effective in the long term.
