Remote Start Car Alarm – Viper 5601
The Viper 5601 remote start car alarm allows you to use your alarm remote to start the car while not inside the car cabin. This means that on cold mornings you can defrost windows and generally warm the car engine before you begin your journey. If your car is parked near, then you may even be able to remote start the car from inside your house.

Please note this system is not Thatcham Approved and cannot be used if you need a Cat 1 for insurance purposes.

Remote Car Starter
A remote car starter with a 1-way transmitter will allow you to send signals to your car from the handheld remote. The Viper 5601 has SuperCode technology giving an amazing range of up to 2000 feet.
Many features are possible with the Viper 5601 auto alarm, remote start, turbo timer, and defroster output functions. For performance cars warming the engine before journeys allows the engine to lubricate before driving off and similarly a turbo timer will allow the turbo sufficient time to ‘wind down’. In colder weather a defroster function can clear windows faster and may even be essential for cars without door frames as these can become frozen to the car. Please note turbo timer and defroster output functions depend on car capability and require extra fitting at further cost.
