Sterling Excel Cat 2 Car Immobilisers are Thatcham Approved vehicle security systems. If your insurance company asks for your car to be equipped with a Category 2 device as a minimum, then the Sterling Excel is a no fuss solution and comes with a valid insurance ready certificate stamped with the necessary MESF impression stamp.

The Sterling Excel immobiliser comes with a transponder key fob which you attach to your car keys. The car immobiliser is disabled by the key fob just being near the rest of the system installed in your car and works seamlessly without user intervention. No holes need to be drilled in the dash and everything is hidden from view accept the LED status indicator.
