Car Immobilisers – Sterling Touch

Car Immobilisers prevent the car from being started until the immobiliser is deactivated. When your insurance company only asks for a Cat 2 immobiliser to be fitted then this device can provide a low cost answer, as opposed to a full alarm system. We are MESF, VSIB and Thatcham Accredited and can provide a valid insurance ready certificate with the necessary MESF or VSIB impression stamp.

How does the Sterling Touch work?

With this security system the car remains immobilised until a fob carried on your keys, is pushed against the receptor, located discretely on the car dash. This does mean that a small hole needs to be drilled in the car dash to mount the receptor, within easy reach of the driver.

Sterling Touch Car Immobilisers Features

• Valid insurance ready installation certificate, Touch key fob & receptor for Sterling Touch immobiliser
• Thatcham Approved Category 2 (Cat 2) Immobiliser,
• Touch key fob to receptor to disable immobiliser before journey,
• Receptor mounted via a descretly drilled hole in the dash,
• 2 touch key fobs.

This immobiliser takes about 1½ to 2 hours to fit, so expect us to take half a morning or afternoon to install your immobiliser.
